With its affluent management and accumulated capital, the company diversified its main activity from insurance to trading, manufacturing of audio and video related products and lately into the real estate & mine business. Nowadays among Acme Group, there are two companies which reveal the main business of the Group, the Acme Cassette Mfg Ltd, the Acme Magnetic Tapes Ltd.
Acme Magnetic Tapes Ltd is performing the coating of Magnetic Stripes (Laminating Foil and Transfer Foil for various cards.) Audio Web and Pancake, supplying to overseas and 80 percents of the total consumption membership cards / PVC cards manufacturers and audio assemblers of Hong Kong. Its monthly output capacity is equivalent to 13.2 million pieces of C-60, 7.6 million pieces of C-90. It also successfully completed over 50 video and audio plants turn-key projects throughout Mainland China, India and Taiwan. In 2004, we have joint ventured specialty film, such as hard coated film, silicon film, optical film for liquid crystal display panels, window film and security film. Acme has been eagerly diversifying our business in other field - In 2004, also we have successfully entered in real estate business in China and presently, we have a land reserve that can build 800,000 square meters premises. Lately, we also bought few coal & steel mines in China & Indonesia and are preparing to enter into the mines business. With the ceaseless efforts of 2,000 staff members and workers serving in Hong Kong and China, the group has award the 2006 HK Awards for Industries : Productivity and Quality Certificate of Merit, ISO9001:2000 certificates and Green Partner Certificate granted by Sony, Japan. Acme Group will continue to do its best and provide reliable products and services in the coming years. |
